Ben Robot / I Robot - Isaac Asimov

Konusunu daha önceden duymama ve ilgimi çekmesine rağmen uzun süredir okuyamadığım bir kitaptı, en son kapak tasarımı ile dikkatimi çekti ve fırsat bulup okuyabildim. Öncelikle tam bir bilim-kurgu kitabı, zaten hem yazarı hem de kitabı daha önceden duymuş olanlar bunu bilir. Kitabın ana konusu da, tahmini hiç zor olmasa gerek, tabi ki robotlar. Robotlarla ilgili yapılmış tüm filmlerde işlenmiş temel konu robotların dünyayı ele geçireceğine ve daha sonra da insanların ihtiyaç veya isteklerini hiç önemsemeden hepsini köle gibi çalıştıracak bir dünya robot imparatorluğu olacağı ise de bu kitap işte bu nokta da çok farklı, evet konu robotlar ve robotlarla bir gelecek, ama yazar burada robot üretiminde ve geliştirilmesinde çok önemli temel felsefi yaklaşımlar ile başlatıyor olayı. Buna kendi deyimiyle "robotların 3 kuralı" diyerek açıklıyor. Bu kuralların oluşturulması ve uygulanmasının robotlarla oluşacak bir geleceğin nasıl olabileceği üzerine çok hoş okunan bir kitap olmuş. Bilim-kurgu ve teknoloji ve bu dalları kapsayan bir felsefe okumak isteyenler için kesinlikle tavsiye edebileceğim çok güzel bir eser. İyi okumalar :)

I heard Isaac Asimov so many times ago, which is the best sci-fiction thinker and novelist. But i have never read any novel of him until i saw the new cover of this book, I Robot. I bought and read in very short time. Despite i was think it was a classically robot novel, before i read it, this book affected me both of the philosophy of the robot production and explanation of the future. What is the classically robot novel? It will be a worse situation on the Earth then today, the robots will have very huge power and ability, and they will dominate all the decision, and all people will be slave to robots. But in this novel, I Robot, Isaac Asimov state 3 rule for production robot, and how the Earth can be better with robots. I am very glad for read this book, and i suggest read this book, who interested the robots, the future with robot, and the philosophy of robot production. Have a good time in reading :)

Change the backups folder for iPhone, iPad or iPod

If you made backups iPhone, iPad or iPod with your Pc or Mac, I guess that you are too suffered from your internal hard disk is not enough for all backups. Last a few days ago, i try how i can back up my phone to the external hard disk. In this post, i explain how can you do this.

Firstly, if you made already backup, we should start transfer this backup. Your previously backup is already in this folder "C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\". (Note: "username" is your account name for your computer)

I suggest that you transfer your back up folder completely to your external hard drive. After this transferring, we must delete "Backup" folder, which in "MobileSync".

Now we start the "Command Prompt" to specify the new folder of the backups. To find the "Command Prompt" you can click the search button and write only "cmd" or you can find in "Accessories" in "All Programs".

In opening black page was written now "C:\Users\(username)\", we can do this changing folder operation, but i prefer the main folder area. To reach the main folder area, we must write "cd.." 2 times separately.

In this area we must write this completely;

 mklink /J "C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup" "D:\Backup"

It is an important thing is that (username) is your account name, the other is that what is your external hard disk name. For example my external hard disk name is started with "G:/". You can check this name in your "Computer" folder.

After this operation all backups will made on your external hard disk, in addition a shortcut will be in old folder in your computer and you can see how many gb or mb is your backups in this shortcut properties. Please don't think this operation is failed, this is only a shortcut. This backups will not take up any space in your internal hard disk.
